For this session we decided to try pick up on a trail of development I started on my own. Many zealots are already likely to be angry: you can't just pick up on something that already exists, it is meant for new code. more⇛

There are a few important factors which must be considered

• a war in Iraq prevents proper drilling/production
• a war in Afghanistan prevents shipment
• Brazil has a large new find
• Venezuela's reserves seem to be bigger than previously though
• Saudi Arabia and company appear more⇛

I don't think it is irrelevant, the original estimates of the Venezuala find where comparable to the reserves of the middle east. The size of the Brazilian find is not known (from what I know). more⇛

Apparently some people believe that a party size of 20 is not big enough. Quick calculation, those 20 people (2.6% of the Parliament size of 750) could represent around 13million people. replies⇛

High fuel prices certainly lead to increased government income, but one has to also think there isn't much the government can do to decrease the crude oil price. replies⇛

Interesting story about the consumer interest group against the C-51 Health bill in Canada. I can only hope the European politicians see this as a spur to pass stronger transparency laws regarding lobbies and special interest groups. replies⇛
