suggestion for enhancement

I think there should be a toggle that allows one to expand/collapse an article on the main screen without going to a separate page. This would also make it more convenient to put the voting buttons for each article on the main page as well. replies

I am thinking of trying to create an event planning calendar web app. The idea is that you create an event and set up potential dates/times for the event. Then you invite people to participate. People who want to join can veto dates/times that don't work for them. more

Venezuela Oil

According to this article, Venezuela has increased its estimate of proven reserves by 30 billion barrels, bringing their total reserves to 130 billion barrels. That's another huge increase. more

Large Brazilian Oil Find

If the early estimates of 33 billion barrels for this field are correct, it is indeed a very large find. However, it is still only ~ 16% of current estimated Saudi reserves. It is also speculative. I have not seen anything but very early "guesstimates. more

The points you bring up are minor in the grand scheme of things. I doubt even the unbelievable growth in Canadian oil sands production will be enough to sustain global oil production increases for much longer, if at all. more
