I think the issue is that an edit seems look like a new item instead of just changing the original item. Wether or not an edit brings an item up to the top of the list is up to you, though I would prefer it remained where it was, but in any case one should never be able to see both the original item and an updated version of it in the list at the same time. My captcha is Leninist Funeral, kinda of a cool name for a band, though I guess XXX Funeral would be a good name where XXX can be anything.
