You can try that first item. I would tend to think just making it consistent across the board would be better, especially if clicking on a post brings up any related discussion thread. I don't know what those links on the right side are (brainbrain, other...), but any url a post links to could go into that section. I am not sure I understand what you mean by the last two items, but if I understand correctly, that probably makes sense to have replies show up as new items under the original topic/category. Again, I think it would be good if they were also be displayed in the context of their thread when you click on them.
